Payments: Razorpay, Stripe, and what we never store

How Neuradesk takes payment in India and internationally, which payment methods work, and why your card number never touches our servers.

How payment works in India

Payments in India run through Razorpay, an RBI-compliant payment processor. At checkout you can pay by:

  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm)
  • All major credit and debit cards
  • Net banking

Subscription renewals are handled by Razorpay's recurring billing. Your payment confirmation email from Razorpay carries the transaction ID you would need for a refund request.

International payments

Outside India, card payments run through Stripe and are being rolled out region by region. In a region where card payments are not live yet, checkout pages show a notice instead of a payment form. We do this deliberately: charging an international card through the India-only processor would bill you the wrong amount in the wrong currency, so we refuse rather than mischarge.

What we never store

We do not store credit card numbers or banking details on our servers. Card and bank data is entered directly with the payment processor (Razorpay or Stripe) and stays there. What Neuradesk keeps is your subscription plan, its status and renewal date, and a payment reference ID used to prevent double-charging.

More broadly, per our security page: all traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.3, data at rest is encrypted with AES-256, and session tokens are signed, HttpOnly cookies never exposed to JavaScript.
