At Neuradesk.ai, your privacy is fundamental to everything we build. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. We believe in transparency and giving you control over your information.
1. Information We Collect
Account Data: Name, email address, and authentication credentials when you sign up.
Resume & Portfolio Data: Content you upload or create within our tools, including resumes, cover letters, portfolio projects, and professional details.
Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, session duration, and interaction patterns to improve our services.
AI Interaction Data: Prompts sent to AI models for resume analysis, interview coaching, and content generation. We do not store AI responses beyond the active session unless you explicitly save them.
Payment Data: Subscription plans and payment status managed through Razorpay. We do not store credit card numbers or banking details on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Data
Provide, maintain, and improve Neuradesk.ai services.
Power AI features including resume analysis, interview coaching, and content generation.
Process payments and manage subscriptions via Razorpay.
Send essential service communications (account verification, security alerts, billing).
Analyze aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to improve the platform.
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.
3. AI Data Processing
Your resume and portfolio content is sent to third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude) for processing. Each provider has their own data processing policies.
AI providers may temporarily process your data but we configure our integrations to minimize data retention on their systems.
We use task-based routing to send only the minimum necessary data to each AI provider.
When available, uploaded PDFs may be processed via PageIndex (VectifyAI) for structured text extraction. Documents are deleted from the service immediately after extraction. If PageIndex is unavailable, extraction is performed locally on our servers.
AI-generated outputs (analysis scores, improvement suggestions) are associated with your account only if you choose to save them.
4. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored on secured PostgreSQL databases with encryption at rest.
We use HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit.
Authentication is handled via NextAuth with secure session management.
We implement OWASP-recommended security headers including Content Security Policy, HSTS, and X-Frame-Options.
Access to production databases is restricted and monitored.
5. Third-Party Services
Razorpay: Payment processing — subject to Razorpay's privacy policy.
Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic: AI processing — subject to their respective data processing agreements.
PageIndex (VectifyAI): Document structure extraction — when enabled, uploaded PDF resumes and job descriptions may be sent to the PageIndex API for higher-accuracy text extraction. Documents are deleted from PageIndex immediately after processing. Falls back to local processing if unavailable.
NextAuth / OAuth Providers: Authentication via Google, GitHub — subject to their privacy policies.
We carefully evaluate third-party services and only integrate those with strong data protection practices.
6. Your Rights
Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: Update or correct inaccurate personal information.
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
Export: Download your resumes, portfolios, and profile data.
Opt-out: Unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time.

7. Data Retention
Active account data is retained as long as your account remains active.
Upon account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
AI interaction logs are automatically purged after each session.
8. NeuraLens Chrome Extension
NeuraLens is our Chrome extension that works on supported job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri, Glassdoor, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday).
Job Data: The extension reads publicly visible job posting data (title, company, description, URL) from supported job boards to provide match scoring and AI features.
Local Storage: Match score caches, preferences, application queues, and offline action queues are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API.
Permissions: The extension requests only minimum necessary permissions — activeTab, tabs, storage, sidePanel, notifications, alarms, and scripting. No access to browsing history, bookmarks, or downloads.
AI Processing: Job descriptions are sent to AI APIs for scoring and analysis. No personally identifiable information is included in AI prompts — only job text and anonymized profile data.
No Tracking: The extension does not track your browsing activity outside of supported job boards. No tracking pixels or third-party analytics are injected into pages you visit.
9. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management.
We use analytics cookies (only with consent) to understand usage patterns.
We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to ad networks.
You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements.
We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
Continued use of Neuradesk.ai after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
