• Own core accounting workflows for CBFSE, including journal entries, supporting schedules, reconciliations, and close activities.
• Apply IFRS and sound accounting judgment to activity from Coinbase’s evolving crypto business.
• Develop proficiency in preparing and delivering recurring regulatory reports to CySEC, the Central Bank of Cyprus, and in accordance with applicable CIF requirements.
• Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Source-to-Pay, and Engineering to resolve accounting questions and improve reporting accuracy.
• Analyze variances and data anomalies, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, analysis, and timely responses.
• Improve the scalability of accounting operations through stronger controls, automation, data analysis, and responsible use of generative AI.

• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience in a Cyprus Investment Firm, Big Four firm, financial services, fintech, or other regulated environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA, ACA, or CPA preferred.
• Hands-on experience applying IFRS to operational accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience investigating discrepancies and improving processes.
