Job Description

Job Summary 1.1 Responsible for 1 st level failure analysis of reject tools or components from production line to identify process or supplier related issue for failures which are unable to be solve by Failure Analyzer. 1.2 Support VSE in preparing and update In Process Checklist, Production Work Instruction (PWI), Production Quality Indication (PQI) and Quality Alert for daily production usage. 1.3 Assist VSE in preparation of workstations layout, set up workstation and line release documents before Pre-Pilot run, Pilot Run and mass production. 1.4 Support VSE to perform Machine and Process Capability Study to ensure machines and processes meet the capability requirement during new product introduction and mass production. 1.5 Support VSE in coordination of PDP project sample build (Pre-Pilot and Pilot run) on material availability and jig and fixtures readiness. 1.6 Update PT Packaging System for setting up part number for barcode scanning activities to avoid missing or wrong items been shipped to customer. 1.7 Responsible for monthly FOR (Fall Off Rate) data entry into FOR database for tracking of FOR and Internal Defect Cost (IDC). 1.8 Prepare rework flow for any non-conformities detected at production line for sorting or rework activities. 1.9 Responsible to follow up and track the status of rejected parts complained to supplier via Purchasing Quality engineer (PUQ). 1.10 Responsible to coordinate measurement support activities for verification of part dimension in order to determine root cause of rejection found in the line. 1.11 Support process improvement project in production through time study - VT improvement, direct productivity improvement, ergonomic, workstation, machine and technology. 1.12 Support production in achieving the effectiveness, output, FOR and quality target through continuous improvement activity. 1.13 Liaise with maintenance personnel for maintenance plan set up and spare parts replacement for existing machine used in production wheneve

Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Literacy in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good in technical report writing and include complete data analysis and action recommendation.
  • Experience in new product introduction (NPI), manufacturing activities and documentation (eg: Work Instruction, Control Plan, Process FMEA, Machine and Process Capability Studies, Statistical Process Control - SPC, Time Study (VT), Line Balancing, Setup Plan) is required.
  • Able to understand and interpret technical drawing.
  • Hand on experience on failure analysis and problem solving methodology.
