Job Description

  • Develop and validate advanced assembly processes and innovative manufacturing technologies alongside internal and external partners.
  • Support the industrialization phase and mass production ramp-up by evaluating process requirements, line readiness, and process robustness on the shop floor.
  • Analyze product requirements holistically, ensuring that mechanical product designs are fully optimized to meet manufacturing and assembly constraints.
  • Lead and coordinate comprehensive Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) reviews to guarantee a seamless transition from prototype to mass production.
  • Coordinate technical alignment between development departments and manufacturing partners worldwide.

Qualifications

  • University degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Automation, or related technical discipline
  • Industry Experience: More than 5 years of proven professional experience in mechanical design, process development, automation, or industrialization.
  • Manufacturing Technologies: Strong knowledge of diverse mechanical assembly processes, such as plastic injection molding, welding, gluing, taping, and automated assembly systems.
  • 3D Design & Tolerancing: Solid experience in 3D CAD modeling and technical drawing creation, with advanced knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Practical experience with PTC CREO is highly preferred.
  • Partner Coordination: Demonstrated experience coordinating development, tooling, and manufacturing partners.
  • Domain Expertise: Prior experience or interest in consumer electronics, outdoor hardware products, smart displays, ECUs, or IoT devices, is considered a plus.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • An assertive, reliable, and highly organized working style with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative team player who communicates with clarity across multidisciplinary, global development teams.
  • Proactive, resilient, and passionate about manufacturing excellence and continuous operational improvement.
