Job Description

At Bosch high-quality master data is the fuel driving our global digital transformation. As the foundation of our internal, Master Data Management (MDM) and Product Information Management (PIM) environments, our Stibo STEP Platform Team ensures that business-critical data is globally consistent, highly secure, and instantly accessible.

We are currently launching on one of our most exciting journeys yet: migrating our massive, established on-premise infrastructure into the next-generation Stibo SaaS.

We don't just run systems, we design the future of master data.

  • Next-Gen Platform Solutions & AI Governance : You own the technical quality standards of our platform. You will design, develop, and implement platform-exclusive features and guidelines for our internal customers. This includes creating robust transport-handling workflows, secure emergency-user concepts, and defining development guidelines. You will expand automated, AI-assisted code review solutions to elevate our code quality to the next level.
  • Platform Evolution & Cloud Migration : You are at the heart of our tech transition. You will be part of our migration roadmap from on-premise servers to the Stibo SaaS Cloud, helping us build a highly scalable, modern cloud architecture.
  • Technical Vendor Sparring : You are the main technical counterpart to our software vendor Stibo Systems and our external integration partners. You manage SLAs, drive technical alignment, and coordinate global upgrades, hotfixes, and release cycles.
  • Platform Operations & Support : You act as a high-level (2nd/3rd level) technical consultant for our internal Bosch development and business teams. You analyse complex system behaviours, resolve incidents, and continuously improve our platform's automated monitoring capabilities.
  • Audit & Compliance Management : Together with the team, you prepare and accompany internal and external IT security and compliance audits, ensuring our global platform remains rock-solid and fully compliant.

Qualifications

  • Education : A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
  • Stibo STEP : Practical experience in administering, configuring, and custom-tailoring the Stibo STEP platform. Experience with STEP SaaS is a plus.
  • Quality & Automation Enthusiast : You have a genuine passion for modern dev-ops, automation, and utilizing AI-driven tools for code quality and testing.
  • IT Operations & Infrastructure Foundation : A solid understanding of ITIL-based IT operations (Incident, Problem and Change Management) paired with experience in both on-premise server landscapes and cloud architectures.
  • Mindset : You are highly analytical, self-driven, and you thrive in agile setups. You possess the confidence to challenge existing processes and actively propose innovative alternatives.
  • Language Skills : Excellent communication skills in English. German skills are a bonus but not required.
