Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities : Minimum of 10+ years of formal education.

  • 8–10 years of experience in SAP Project Management, covering implementation, migration, and application support (AMS) engagements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in SAP support projects, with the ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of assignments, and ensure timely completion in line with standard practices and organizational guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on project management experience in SAP S/4HANA, with specialization in at least one SAP module.
  • Strong hands-on understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and support landscape, including system operations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with business users and senior leadership.
  • Experience in managing incident, problem, and change management processes in line with ITIL standards, ensuring strict SLA and KPI adherence.
  • Proficiency in handling end-to-end AMS support activities, including root cause analysis, defect resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to estimate Project/CR technical effort, timelines, and dependencies for change requests and enhancements
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, track progress, and provide structured and periodic updates to customers.
  • Capability to understand business challenges and translate them into SAP solutions, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Experience in conducting requirement-gathering workshops for change requests and managing their implementation lifecycle.
  • Flexibility to provide extended support during critical situations, including weekends for high-priority issues, system restarts, or patch upgrades.
  • Proactive mindset to identify opportunities for optimization in existing integrations and recommend multiple solution approaches.
  • Strong understanding of SAP project lifecycle phases including development, testing (unit, integration, functional), go-live, and post-go-live support.
  • Ability to manage business user expectations and deliver consistent support services.
  • Experience supporting rollout projects and post go-live production support across plants.
  • At least one end-to-end SAP implementation experience, including migration and cutover activities.
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA and AMS support landscape.
  • Expertise in at least one core SAP module (MM/SD/FI/PP/EWM) with cross-module integration knowledge.
  • Experience in incident, problem, and change management with SLA adherence.
  • Knowledge of SAP integrations (IDOC, RFC, interfaces with non-SAP systems).
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori, output management, and basic configurations.
  • Exposure to batch management, inventory, and procurement processes.
  • Experience in transport management, release cycles, and system upgrades.
  • Working knowledge of Solution Manager / ServiceNow / ticketing tools.
  • Understanding of custom developments, testing cycles, and deployment support.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis, fit-gap analysis, and solution optimization.

Preferred Skills : Certification in SAP: SAP Activate Project Manager

Additional Information

  • Facilitate workshops to gather and validate business requirements, identify gaps, and propose effective solutions.
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business requirements and translate them into SAP system solutions.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend optimized SAP processes, including necessary enhancements.
