Software Engineer – High Voltage Drive Electronics

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our EM/EEM3-CN team and contribute to the development of software for high-voltage drive electronics. You will be responsible for embedded software development throughout the software development lifecycle, working closely with global teams in China, Germany and India.

• Develop embedded software for high-voltage drive electronics, mainly using C programming language
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, software design, implementation, debugging and verification
• Design and maintain software components according to the defined software architecture
• Develop and maintain model-based software using MATLAB/Simulink based on inputs from the algorithm team
• Support software integration, debugging and issue resolution during development and testing phases
• Work closely with global colleagues and cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical solutions
• Follow Bosch software development and quality processes, including ASPICE and software quality assurance
• Continuously contribute to the improvement of local software development processes and methodologies
• Provide technical support during production ramp-up and customer/OEM on-site activities when required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in the automotive industry
• Strong programming skills in C
• Good understanding of CAN/LIN communication and automotive diagnostics
• Knowledge of microcontrollers and basic automotive electronics
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and model-based software development is a plus
• Familiarity with ASPICE and AUTOSAR is preferred
• Experience with software development and testing tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, VectorCAST, Vector tools , etc. is an advantage
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a global and cross-functional team
• Good command of English , both written and spoken
